Larry D. Harmon Matthews, loved telling stories

Larry D. Harmon Matthews, 67, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023. He was a resident of Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Millsboro.

He was born in Frankford to the late James Matthews and Cordelia Harmon. Larry worked in the construction field. He liked to have a good time, work on cars and loved R&B oldies. Larry was very social and loved telling stories and talking.

Larry is survived by three children, Gerard Williams of Dover, Darnell Hall (Trina Dobraski) of Bridgeville, and Rahiem Kellam of Bridgeville. He is also survived by one brother, James Harmon (Lucille) of Seaford; two sisters, Cathy Matthews of Millsboro, and Tammy Matthews of Georgetown; as well as 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Larry is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Services will be private.
